A safe space for me needn't be a physical space. It could be as simple as being with a group of people who hold similar values and commit to consistently provide each other with a supportive, respectful environment.

When during meetings we get breaks and start discussing our personal stuff, and make fun of each other, share those light moments and laughter when for issues (personal or professional) faced I can straight reach out to my team and they understand and support, that is my safe space.

A place where one has the freedom to express oneself without worrying about what others will think about my opinions. It is just not a concept we use, it is actually a growth mindset that sets the basic ground rules of fearless learning enhancing the developmental process of growth and maturity.

Like being on stage, where people are sitting in front of you just to listen to you, and there is a backstage team who believe in you, and are ready to help. A safe space is that comfort and trust which is there between the backstage team, the performer, and the audience.
